Our Story
Prabodhan Bahu-uddeshiya Sanstha (PBS) established in 2008 is a registered NGO with NITI AYOG, Government of India (Unique NGO ID – MH/2016/0103140). Since inception PBS is engaged in various skill development trainings through its 62 branches all over India. PBS and its subsidiaries Spectrum Academy & Infosoft Computers is registered Training Provider with MSSDS, Govt. of Maharashtra & NSDC, Govt. of India.
We conduct Entrepreneurship Development Training Programs for various target groups like Unemployed Youth, Women, Physically Challenged individuals, Farmers, Minorities, SC & ST Candidates. We also conduct Placement Drives, ROJGAR MELAs, Exhibitions, LOAN MELAs in collaboration with Government & Private Sector Partners. We also promote Local & Indigenous products through our SWADESHI PRASAR ABHIYAN.
We have successfully completed Pradhan Mantri Kaushalya Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) Phase I & II and are also a Training Provider for PMKVY Phase III. We have implemented various training programmes under CSR initiatives in the state of Maharashtra & Goa, and have imparted training to the Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff of various Schools, Junior Colleges, Residential Public Schools, and Technical Institutes across Maharashtra, Karnataka and Goa.
We have started India's first Educational Internet Radio "RADIO MPSC GURU" — a live internet radio for students preparing for various competitive exams. We conduct Workshops in Schools & Colleges about Career Guidance, Competitive Exams, and Soft Skills all over Maharashtra, and have conducted various survey projects related to Career Awareness, Health Awareness, Financial Literacy Campaigns, and Population Studies across the State.
The name "Prabodhan" reflects the vision to enlighten and awaken minds and communities, fostering self-reliance and hope. Our continued efforts focus on creating sustainable educational models that empower children and families alike.
